Profile Pictures and Cover Photos
Facebook profile pictures display at 176 x 176 pixels on desktop, but should be uploaded at a minimum of 400 x 400 pixels (1:1 ratio) for clarity.
Cover photos are famously difficult to get right. They display at 820 x 312 pixels on desktop (a 2.62:1 ratio) but crop significantly on mobile to 640 x 360 pixels. To ensure your text isn't cut off, place all critical elements in the center "safe zone".
Facebook Event and Group Cover Sizes
Event cover photos require a 1200 x 628 pixel image (about a 1.91:1 ratio).
